Has any body been able to get sound working on Mojave upgraded from High Sierra with the Asus ROG STRIX Z370-F? I tried for like a month and nothing, was forced to buy usb audio, only issue is Virtual Windows will get no sound then.

Hi, I know I need a KEXT to enable some of my USB ports. Pront 2 ports did work on HS. But because I had been screwing around trying to get audio to work, most of my files have been removed. Sorry for my ignorance, what file do I need to add it get all my USB ports to work? Thanks

I removed them from EFI Partition, redownloaded and put them back. Still dont see the audio in DPCI. Should they go in /L/E/ ? I am getting discouraged, I am thinking of starting with a clean build?

Set to 1. Seem like DPCI now doesnt have codexid or revision. Step backwards?

Yes did the cold start I did not have a applehda.kext in /S/L/E. Please tell me that wasnt the issue. I added the Mojave default applehda from a brand new install on another harddrive. Here are the files including the terminal output

Yes. This was an upgrade from High Sierra.

OK the 2 files are added: FakePCIID.kext (if not installed previously) FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext Audio still blank in System Info

Thats the old Clover Configurator, under the new one I dont see any numbers to inject. I have tried both 1 and 11 manually. The kexts are all fine in clover/other and removed from both L\E and S\L\E
