I've never used clover with the P8Z77 but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Clover is a much better bootloader. If I were setting up this machine again I would definitely be using Clover, not Chameleon. My 3 current builds are all using Clover with no issues.

You guys with the Z170N Gaming 5 motherboard... I noticed this one only has one USB 2.0 internal header and only USB 3.0/3.1 on the back. Are you installing with the Clover USB in a USB3 port? I was considering this motherboard for a new build. Its been a while since Ive built an osx86...

Updated via App Store. At the end, I had a black screen with mouse cursor for a few minutes. I figured I would try typing in my login password even though I couldn't see the prompt. As soon as I pressed return, the desktop appeared. Everything working the same as before, no issues.

The Black Friday sales on all of these 21x9 monitors got my attention. I picked up this HP Envy 34c today @ Microcenter. I went in for the Dell but the HP was $300 cheaper and I was impressed with the picture quality and decent speakers. I'm loving all of this screen real estate.

I realize this was 3 months ago, but... Thanks for posting this. I had similar issues and removing GenericUSBXHCI.kext resolved it. I don't think your Samsung EVO SSD had anything to do with it. I am using a Crucial MX100 SSD.
