    The Answer is that I'm a moron and I put the windows boot in a (sort of) malfunctioning USB port. Putting it it a the back basically fixed it. Works like a charm :)

    Great topic. For the first time in 6 months I've successfully kept my mac shut down! So: I did not have a GenericUSBXHCI.kext in that folder, the closest thing I found was: USBinjectAll.kext . I removed that one and it seems to work. All my USB ports are still active, so I don't really know...
