I took out the GPU and started via the iGPU and reached the installer. Now about 5 minutes into the installation of HS the computer suddenly reboots without finishing the installation. Have you ever had something like that?

I've had it running for about an hour now and still no changes and also no disk activity. CapsLock still works fine. Any more ideas on how to proceed?

Ah okay, didn't know that. Yes, I have nv_disable=1 activated. I've waited for about 10 minutes when i reached this Endpoint activated. Is it usual that it takes that long? And are the errors that occur on the attached picture normal?

This is the result with -liluoff. Apparently now the FakeSMC triggered the rebuild.

It's on the hardware from my signature. The P8Z77, i7 3770 and GTX 970. Edit: CapsLock light works fine, the disk activity light is off. I'll try using -liluoff and post the result.

Thanks for the quick answer. nv_disable=1 was activated by default. So apparently I never tried it without before - which fails also. Any other ideas?

When you reformatted the disk which format did you use? Apfs or Mac OS Journaled (Extended)?
