    AMD Radeon Navi GPU

Upgraded to Catalina 10.15.1 with the Powercolor 5700XT Red Devil installed, used the agpdmod=pikera in boot args and changed the SMBIOS to iMacPro1,1 in order to boot. Was using iMac14,2 before and it would only boot halfway and then a black screen. Looking good so far. Edit:Forgot to mention...

Radeon Compatibility Guide - ATI/AMD Graphics Cards

This is very interesting. Although the card is primarily built for games, the OpenCL performance increase looks very promising. Also, since it's still Vega based, hopefully, it doesn't take Apple forever to make an iMac refresh with a version of the GPU itself.

[Guide] 10.11+ USB changes and solutions

I need some help getting this right. I have both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports working but not the "correct" way. I've followed the guide but can't seem to nail it. Looking in "About This Mac" -> "System Report" I see all my connected USB devices under the USB 3.0 bus. Even my mouse and Logitech...

    macOS 10.14.2 Update

Update went well apart from iMessage which is no longer working. I didn't do anything specific to make it work in 10.14.1 but it's not that important for me.

    [Solved] Mojave, USB 3.0

I was about to mark this one solved but you beat me to it :) I've configured the most of the USB ports for now and I have the USB 3.0 ports working for both 2.0 & 3.0 devices. My system is currently placed on my desk as I don't have a case yet so I can't test the USB motherboard headers. Using...

    [Solved] Mojave, USB 3.0

Thank you for the info @UtterDisbelief I'm not exactly sure what you mean here. I get the correct device ID for the controllers but there are multiple controllers. Do I need to separate the SSDT in multiple sections for each controller? EDIT: Nevermind the question. The SSDT guide by...

    [Solved] Mojave, USB 3.0

I got it working :headbang: Looking through the excellent guide by @RehabMan for the USB 3.0 injections I thought that maybe Mojave was unable to show me all the SS** ports even though they were present. So I used the Clover boot flags to exclude all HS** ports apart from the two I used for...

    [Solved] Mojave, USB 3.0

Yes, I'm running Mojave. I did tick the 7/8/9 USB Support in Multibeast however that gave me IOreg output in post #7 (screenshot with red arrow) compared to the USB section of the Skylake guide so I removed it again. Maybe this should be installed. Fixed and attached ;) Yes and that's what...

    [Solved] Mojave, USB 3.0

Ahh, okay that makes sense. If that's the case then it would seem like I'm still missing some basic configuration as I only have one SS** port listed. I followed the guide for creating the SSDT but it doesn't appear to be doing anything. The screenshot from IOreg shows a USB stick which is USB...

    [Solved] Mojave, USB 3.0

@UtterDisbelief @ammulder Thanks a lot for your tips guys. Really appreciated  I'm making progress. I managed to remove the FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext from the EFI/Clover/kexts/Other folder. That has led to a slow boot until it gets past clover. Probably because I haven't "uninstalled"...

    [Solved] Mojave, USB 3.0

Hi @UtterDisbelief @ammulder I hope you don't mind I tagged you both. I tried to follow the Skylake guide regarding the USB 3.0 port configuration here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/10-11-0-10-11-3-skylake-starter-guide.179221/#DetailedUSB However I don't see any wedges or connected...

    [Solved] Mojave, USB 3.0

I downloaded the newest version of Multibeast for Mojave and selected the options in the screenshot. After a reboot the USB 3.0 ports are working again but only at USB 2.0 speeds. Any advise is greatly appreciated :)

    [Solved] Mojave, USB 3.0

Hi all, I've just installed my first hackintosh and I've found a strange issue which I need some help with. I have an 6TB external RAID which connects via USB 3.0. This worked just fine - once. After a reboot I'm unable to mount the drive via USB 3.0 ever again. I can mount and unmount it via...

    Mojave, Intel HD4600 fuzzy

I've come across something that shows it more clearly: https://9to5mac.com/2018/01/10/matias-introduces-new-wired-aluminum-keyboard-with-rgb-backlight-for-mac/ Note the edges around all the images in the commercial (Macbook Accessory) just above the Youtube movieclip in the middle of the page...

    Mojave, Intel HD4600 fuzzy

Hi everyone, Long time reader firstime builder here. I've done my first ever hackintosh and I've got a question regarding the fonts. The text and icons doesn't appear to be particularly sharp. I only have a 1920 x 1080 panel and I'm just not sure of if this is an error or not. I've read a bit...
