For anyone having issues with sound. I cleared kext from cache, re-entered missing npci=0x2000 darkwake=0 kernel flags in boot.plist and rebooted with -v -f. sound worked. rebooted again (no flags - although I have verbose on by default)... worked. Hope it helps

Here's another tip (kinda). Getting (front) headphones plug to work has been my latest pain. I don't think it's an OSX issue, however it turns out that if unplug the speakers at the rear the headphones work. Go figure.

For anyone interested, you need to set the Ethernet parameters to Manual in Network->Advanced->Ethernet->Configure Seems to be stable now.

After a couple of days working in OS X I realize network is resetting itself a few times. Switched to 32bit for more stability but the problem remains. Anyone else seen this?
