Hi , I have too ASROCKx79 extreme 4... I luck to install BIGSUR...with OC boot from USB , my situation is...BIGSUR work but...NO LAN , NO AUDIO, 2 of the 4 SATA 2 ports non working good...(sata2 0, 1) any HHD or SSD connected here , don't like to BIGSUR, not recognised good and like...

in native mode ...bis sierra high 10.3.4 work good ...seem to 10.3.5 begin the bug...and ofcourse with last 10.3.6 I never try but I think meaby work with WEB DRIVER... alternative is go back to 10.3.4 and owrk with native NV mode..!

all right....BUT SIERRA HIGH 10.13.5/6 and mojave (10.14.0/1) by APPLE have introduce something do WRONG on nvidia 6.xx and 7.xx to the NATIVE INTERNAL OSX DRIVER.... i can't say if "metal" cause or GPU bug....BUT you can try 1000 times and see with your eyes.... those gfx card work always...

but witch model ? because there are differents aboout extrem 4, 6 .... and not all working good or bad in the same mode.... with extreme 4 , sierra high no possible to install , sierra 10.2 work great... , mojave work also great , but with AMD/ATI card , problem is bios UEFI , for work with...

mojave (like the anothers osx) have NO problem to see and use the GTX 660 native... never you need webdriver...BUT from the last 2 updates of sierra high and mojave (update 10.4.1 also...) there is a BUG on driver nvidia internal , a bug meaby burn with "metal" change , od apple gfx cards...

Can you tell us , where the RX 560,570,580 are inside a real MAC hardware? It's only lucky, OS kext AMD gfx that support also them because thesome driver for AMD videocard real MAC... Thesome what happen with many NVIDA 5.xx 6.xx 7.xx card , thanks the NVIDIA 760 i think , was the real card...

woth mojave I do all the possible tests on SATA disk , on SSD disk...in APFS , in HFS....no change. the best way is waiting... SIERRA HIGH (non last updates , because are wrong like mojave drivers...) work perfect with 660 , in native mode, and CUDA dirvers are perfect. what softwares or...

no way.... only APPLE can fix this on nvida drivers inside mojave is a bug caused of new gpu "metal" routines.... BUT who tell to appledevs this ? never do that sure...
