Unless you disable the iGPU, and change the SMBIOS to iMac Pro. MacOS will default to use QuickSync, and won't utilise the Vega's hardware acceleration.

um.... It allow you to set 5120x2880, but not 2560x1440 x2... Not sure what the logic is, but if I click "Scale" at the top, I can get this for my monitor.
