The process I have used is no longer available to me to change system logo.tiff. ThemeEngine no longer works for Catalina.

spctl --master-disable

How do I change the ProcessorInfo in AboutThisMac in Catalina 10.15.2 ?
mine is showing "4,3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9" but I want it to show "5 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9"

i dit not know where & what to change,
I have tried "/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleSystemInfo.framework/Versions/A/Resources/de.lproj/AppleSystemInfo.strings"
but I don't really know why to change there.

also disabling EIST in Bios did not helped me ...

ok ... previously I added in Clover/CPU 5000 for Frequency in MHz, after removing this AboutThisMac
shows the right CPU-Speed of 3.6 GHz. Since the Turbo mode is working like it should (up to 5 GHz)
I can live with that.

But why did the injection of 5000 MHz not work ? (showing me only 4.3 GHz in AboutThisMac)

ok .. aboutThisMac successfully changed, but still a few bugs to solve:

... does anyone knows how to change the icon for the second monitor (in my case the LG-Display),
and is it possible to change the Name from C34H89x to, for example, Samsung ?

... why isn't my AbouThisMac showing the RAM configuration at the top of the window ?
is this SMBIOS (19,1) related ?

and don't forget to set write permissions in terminal:

sudo spctl --master-disable
mount -uw /
killall Finder

otherwise you cannot copy the modified assets.car back.
