I tried both your and darkvoid's clover setup and the latest binaries wont work without removing the I2C kexts (Although their latest release works just fine without removing anything). I was referring to scrolling/ swiping left and right in safari/chrome to navigate back and forth between...
A note on the VoodooI2C drivers, make sure that you remove all the other i2c kexts from S/L/E which may be conflicting. I had to remove AppleIntelLpssI2C.kext and AppleIntelLpssI2CController.kext to get it working.

and do keep your ambient temperature & workload in mind @skydrops while monitoring the graph. I managed to get 37 degrees in the morning, as its as cold as 21 degree Celsius, as...
Just used @jkbuha 's variables to under-volt the CPU & GPU .. & its a success. System is stable, I think a tad cooler as well (Could be placebo effect. I forgot to record my previous thermals). I'll update this post as time passes.
Edit:

Edit: Only chrome seems to be affected. Safari scrolls fine. Maybe flash is to be blamed? I will check Firefox soon.
Updates --
10.12.6 works great. The disk utility format failure bug is gone
I've also been playing with 10.13. Bit unstable, but works. No major performance improvement from APFS or metal (yet)
