RX 6600XT doesn't have the same issues as the other 6XXX cards.
My geekbench 5 scores actually went up by about 15%.

I'm using Clover bootloader. It's perfect. I think a clean install with MultiBeast should set you straight. We have close to identical specs.

i use an H97-D3H gigabyte.
you are right, it doesnt have m.2 slot.
i thought m.2 was for only storage.
so where does the adapter go on my board?

I'm no expert but when it comes to sleep and booting, i have no issues. i do know that my config plist is excellently setup... as i leave the pc running for days with no problems.
also check your bios settings.
I don't know if this will help anyone, but I really just went with a fresh install of El Capitan.
I created a bootable El Capitan 10.11.6 flash drive from when was running a buggy version of Yosemite.
Then I installed and used recommended BIOS settings (setting IGPU as startup device)
I booted...
Fresh install of 10.11.6 works perfect here... way faster than yosemite.
I'm on r9 380 so i need the igpu on boot option enabled.
iMessage and all work okay. except for connecting up to 3 monitors. theres a ghost monitor in the monitor preferences pane.
i currently have 2 monitors hooked up...
this is the best guide to get iMessage working without glitches

im building a new el capitan basd hackintosh and i want it to dual boot my windows and mac os drive. saving profiles for different boot parameters in my bios is my plan...
but my work on osx is mainly 3d graphics based.
getting the r9 380 to work is paramount for me...
i know about setting igpu...
