Okay, using Clover Configurator I added this to my config.plist. I got these values from a cpu z report I ran before starting. However, it's not having any effect. Still getting the reboot after randomseed.

Yes, thank you. I have been and continue to search for solutions on this forum and elsewhere.
Here's what I've tried so far
This thread suggests :
-trying different USB ports I have already tried them all
-switching memory to a different slot I have a single stick of 8GB. I tried switching to...
Okay I tried again using release 5118 from here: https://github.com/CloverHackyColor/CloverBootloader/releases.
Again, same result :(
I'm attaching the clover folder and verbose pic.
Thanks in advance for any further help you can provide.

I don't often build PCs...
Okay, I've been able to answer my first question for myself. The HDD not showing up on boot wasn't because I had guessed the password wrong. Taking the back cover off, I found that the doofuses who sold me this machine had slapped the hard drive in without the proper caddy... or any caddy...
Hi. I'm new here, and I'm sorry my first post might be kinda off topic.
I bought a HP4540S used on ebay since it seemed widely recommended for hackintoshing.
Well... it turns out this used machine has a BIOS password set. Like an idiot, I tried to guess the password and after 3 or 4 guesses...
