macOS Catalina won't update from 10.15.5 to 10.15.6

I'm stumbling upon the same issue. macOS 10.15.5, trying to upgrade to 10.15.6 Clover: 5122. It shows a loading bar at about 2% for a couple of seconds, then restarts with no update being made.

Immediate wake up. Wake reason: ?

It's still wakes up immediately. I looked at the guide @mattiestonie is suggesting. My processor is this: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5820K CPU @ 3.30GHz but I have set up my hackintosh as such: while the guide suggests: Is my set up wrong for my processor? It's been running smoothly for years now.

App icons changing to placeholder ones

After a time, an icon ie System Preferences, changes from that it is to a placeholder one. I don't know why that happens. It happens for most apps eventually, System Monitor, Skype, League of Legends etc. I googled it a bit and searched here, but maybe I'm using the wrong terminology. Has...

Text rendering in Sierra vs Yosemite in non retina displays

I've been switching the screen back and forth for some time now, and it feels like the Hackintosh text is a tiny bit more blurry. Could this be a GPU thing? When I boot into Yosemite it's crisp as the MacBook. Should I try the nvidia drivers, or that won't make a difference?

Text rendering in Sierra vs Yosemite in non retina displays

On Sierra as @P1LGRIM is saying here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-sierra-yosemite-apple-load-screen-issue.222438/#post-1507443 the GPU is supported natively, so what else do I need to do?
