Currently, it looks to me as if it isn't even broadcasting. Tools like wifi-analyzer show no new access points, even hidden ones, so how would a client app help to connect.

I got it working by using the tutorial for how to install OSX Yosemite with Clover on
tonymacx86 and using the settings for the uefi 7/8/9 series boards instead of legacy.
I also had to add the nv_disable=1 boot arg.
