Well I got sleep working with Sleepenabler.kext, would be nice to get it working without. Only thing not functioning now is speedster, I look forward to the solutions that I'm sure will be available.

Going to try this again tonight with the iMac 12,1 definition, do you think that will help? I was using Mac Pro 3,1

System doesn't work with a DSDT and I'm using Sandybridge so didn't use bridge helper.

OK, tried AppleRTC.kext which got sleep working but disabled sound and network!! //puls out hair

Right, it was because the graphic card driver wasn't installed. Sleep is working perfectly in W7 so what the **** is going on? Is there anything I can look at to diagnose this, someone please help me.

Did you have to do anything special for sleep? doesn't work for me no matter what I do.

So I've just installed Windows 7 out of desperation and sleep is greyed out, this is a turn up for the books, what's going on? I'm so close to throwing this thing out of the window

OK, I've upgraded to a new non-DSDT UEFI install and sleep still fails spectacularly. I kinda feel I'm talking to myself here, can anyone help at all? This has been driving me made for months now!

So what kexts do you guys use? fakesmc and all that? I've tried this with nothing installed but Chimera and I can't get sleep to work, although I couldn't get it working in lion even with a DSDT :(

I've still not been able to fix this in anyway, are there any updates on the issue? I've read the general sleep thread and I can't see anything in there that will fix it.

I don't have onboard graphics, I'll check my BIOS card settings when I get a chance and report back.

Sadly the patched next didn't work, I'm totally at a loss to this now :(

BIOS and DSDT match fine. I'm using the DSDTs from here, I'll give the patched powermanangement next a try, thanks!
