So it installed with that config but something happened during boot, the grey apple and grey progress bar were working until it got about 4/5th of the way then some sort of graphics glitch happened and my screen went black. Im assuming this is the wrong config.

I also tried a few other configs, the 6x70-8x70 with AMD locked up with the circle with the line through it icon during boot. But, as I am typing this I do have the installation actually running with the 6x60-8x60p with AMD config, which is farther than I got before. I didnt think to try it at...

yes, did all of that and had everything running smoothly until i tried to apply the quiet fan patch. im reinstalling osx from usb right now and will double check all my settings. edit: it looks like its actually booting but going reeeeally slow now on progress bar

installed the quiet fan patch and now boot is hanging on progress bar about a third of the way. Any ideas?
