    Yeah that solved it, i did now install the enoch bootloader, and installed a modified appleHDA + reinstalled VoodooHDA. everything seems to work! thank you very much!

    Yes that is the problem. I pbly erased the dsdt, but some how i cant find a config that will work with my sytem, i think i set up the system with mb 1.5.1 but i can only find version 5.5.5. its really strange. i even tryed replacing the extra folder with the one from the stick, but so far...

    no i just wasnt sure which of the gtx 970 to choose best, and i had the feeling that the ga gtx 970 oc is a good card for the price. the computer would be used for video editing later. any suggestions would be welcome :) btw will 1866mhz ddr3 ram work with the ga z97ud5h?
