Thanks. It isn't a hardware problem, because I'm typing this from Windows 10 right now. Guess it won't hurt to reinstall macOS. Thank you for mentioning that "SuperDuper!" software btw, it looks really good and I will probably use it if I can get back into my installation or when I do a reinstall.

Turns out the reason it wouldn't boot is because it wasn't even booting in UEFI :banghead: I guess since Windows 7 doesn't install in UEFI, it made the clover boot loader boot in legacy mode, which is why OS X wouldn't boot. I created another OS X USB installer, and since it is UEFI I can boot...

Nope. Still haven't fixed it. There is probably a setting in your motherboard's bios/UEFI that lets you disable your Serial port(s). What brand motherboard do you have? (Mine is an MSI board, so if your's is also MSI go to the same place I went in the picture far above).

I don't know how much longer it is going to take to get a response. I've tried a lot and I need support on this. :banghead:

Nope, still doesn't work. The setting I changed /\. After I did it, when I booted in verbose mode, it got a little bit farther then it normally does, but only by two lines. This was probably not due to me changing the serial port to disabled, however, as it did get to that same place once...
