    GA-Z97X-UD7 TH Thunderbolt devices only detected if boot to Windows first Update for anyone who runs into this issue in the future, I deleted all Thunderbolt related kexts and then went into Bios and set TB security to 'Legacy' and PCIe Cache-line Size to 128. All good now.

    Good call on the low profile ram, I've changed that to be sure! Will be pulling the trigger on this configuration then. Hope you work out your bluetooth issues, would be very curious to hear how you managed (when you finally do).
