Have u tried enable MST support in your Clover config? like agdpmod=pikera If enabled u will have 5k support with 2715k. I strongly doubt that 8k will work too.

I tried, you can check my another thread. Unfornately, with 10.13.1 only recoginized as dual 4k display. With 10.13.4, both Nvidia Pascal card and AMD RX Vega, 8k@24hz with two display is the best resolution u can reach. Please report this to apple so that one day it can work.

I have a GC alpine ridge pci card which works fine on GA X99 UD4. BUT everytime I shutdown down my computer and seconds later it reboots. It seems the power did cut off after shutdown but then it goes back. Anyone had this issue? This problem exists both under Windows and MacOS

Very likely, u can try it with AMD cards, like vega or rx580. As for switchRes, not working actually.

I now run perfectly with 2715K both 1080Ti & RX580 under OSX10.13, no cursor glitch, no powercycle. 3218K was only tested with 1080Ti under OSX10.12/13, so I strongly recommend u try it with RX580, because 8K is not working with webdriver.

Would u please test 10.13.3's performance with GTX1060? I am curious about the fraps dropping issue, maybe it's gone with newer upgrade.

Of course there needs little trick. With nvidiagraphicsfixup(latest version) ngfxpatch=pikera && nv_spanmodepolicy=1, u can now get 5k without powercycle. Furthurmore, if you swith dual dp's position, hdmi can be back. Don't thank me, buddy.

I am using 2715k with 10.13.2 and works well without any bug(no powercycle needed). Even 10bit color outputs ok. But UP3218k, no luck. returned this monitor already. Maybe next OSX release will support it. Any vega users test it for 8k? maybe it will work.

1080Ti+x99p sli@MacPro 6,1, each dp1.4 can reach 4k at most. nv_spanmodepolicy not working. In Win10 single dp can reach 8k flawlessly. Please help.
