Sadly, Gigabyte BIOS barely has any TB3 options. Asus has far more advanced options and features. Hot plugging has not worked so far but if I boot with my UAD apollo on, I can now turn it off. and still reconnect again so this is definitely a step in the right direction. Really curious to see...

Of course there is. There are many, many "tutorials" online. My favourite one is linked below. The hardest part is the config.plist part. Use Plist Edit Pro, not Xcode. OpenCore Should have the first official 1.0 release come out at the end of this month. It's a lot better than Clover already...

Worked perfectly for me on OpenCore 0.5.2 and all latest kexts. Never got a black screen during updating either like I see in many previous comments.

Can these patches be applied for OpenCore bootloader?

I already made the switch a week ago. No problems so far. Having an OpenCore Configurator would be nice though. It's too complicated for most people right now.

I only inject the latest kexts with kexts/other and there are only 6 kexts. I already tried rebuilding kext caches with both commands and get the same error as you.

I'm wondering the same thing. I never deleted any folders like that. My system runs perfectly fine otherwise. It's a bit of a head scratcher. Also, it's not possible to create again afaik.

Are you sure you rebuild your kernel caches after you installed the latest kexts? With the latest WhateverGreen and Lilu everything should work perfectly... The easy way (imo) is downloading kextupdater, run that and check if you have all the latest stuff. Then you can run kext utility which...
