Ok thanks for the info. I have now built my new rig and installed the Gigabyte 780 Ti Windforce OC. It recognizes my card as Nvidia Ashley (see attachment).
Next I'm going to test OSX stock drivers vs. Nvidia web drivers. What about CUDA? Does it work with stock drivers? I need CUDA because...
I also have this problem. Repaired disk permissions with no luck. Also tried to find the preference file but no success. Even added this command to terminal: ls Library/Preferences/com.apple.Preview.plist
-> no such file directory.
Any solutions? I wouldn't like to reinstall OSX.
Hi,
I'm not sure if my reply is off topic, but I wanted to let you guys know.
I have 4 sticks of RAM, 32GB 2133MHz Corsair Vengeance Pro installed to my Gigabyte Z87MX-D3H motherboard. I had really bad boot loop issues and sleep didn't work. RAM was running @1333MHz (optimized defaults) and...
Awesome build! I really like the fact that you use 780 Ti and you watercool it!
I'm also using 780 Ti for my upcoming build. Could you please sum up what do you need to take in concern when installing 780 Ti? Just install the Nvidia web drivers, GraphicsEnabler=No and nvda_drv=1 ?
How's the 4K in 30Hz? Is it usable? Or are you using your 4K display in 1080p?

Great build! I have a similar one which I just posted here.
I'm also wondering about 780 Ti but I'm assuming it's easy to install the Nvidia drivers.
I also have a 4K display in mind: Lenovo's new ThinkVision, $799, April 2014.
Check out my build! :)
I've been going through various build sets and I'm finally coming to a point where I have it all done. Any comments, advice, proposals, praises & disses are needed and much appreciated.

I'm also choosing between GTX 780 Ti 3GB and GTX 770 4GB. Is 780 Ti worth the money and risk?
I will be using my Hackintosh for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere & After Effects.
