    Steve, My G5 Mod.

Thanks! I had the same thoughts, so i bought 2 Gelid SILENT 6's to replace the fans. The advantage of the RM series is the fans only kick in on a system load of 40% or more. For example, I have a friend who uses a RM650 and his fan has never started spinning, 'cause he never used so much power.

    Steve, My G5 Mod.

Hi everyone, Here I am with my modded G5, it's a work in progress (almost there). I'm not going to trouble you why I picked this project, I guess we all know why we do it. Sorry in advance, I never really took a lot of pictures. First off, I started with the PSU, to take the 'easiest' part...

    Project PowerMac i5 [Complete]

Really great mod! Just love it, hope my mod will ever look as nice as yours! Btw: how does your psu preform with those 2 60mm fans? Does it cool enough? I also want to build my psu inside the original casing but i'm afraid the 2 small fans wound cool it enough.

    modding psu question

This looks neat! (thanks for your reply btw) Well, i was thinking about it, but then i wondered how the airflow would be. 'Cause the 2 60mm fans blow straight trough the case, and i wonder what it does with just one 120mm fan on top of it? If I go for the original fan, what is the best way to...

    modding psu question

First of all: Hi, I'm al0a and I'm new to this forum. Second: I hope my question is at the right place! I want to start my first mac pro G5 mod and i want to build my psu into the original casing of the old psu. Still didn't buy a psu 'thou, i was thinking to go with a Corsair, for modular...
