Sure, will post shortly... The current BIOS is F15o, but there is another beta BIOS F15q, but have not updated to that one. Interestingly, when I hooked my other drives back up to run my Yosemite build, I had some issues in BIOS getting this to work. Almost appears that my BIOS is corrupt in...
Hi folks,
Having some major difficulties with my first clover install of El Capitan. Here are the steps I followed to get to where I am:
1. I followed TonyMac's install guide...
I have it in EL CAPITAN (my drive) - EFI
When I select f12 without the USB drive attached, I get the option of UEFII - MAC OS X, and UEFI - (my hard drive). I have tried selecting both, and in all instances, I get something to the effect of not a valid boot drive (cannot remember the exact...
Maybe you can help me... I have the same mono, CPU and RAM, but have a HD6750 video card. Install was excellent, had no issues installing the software. I followed your guide to the letter, which gave me better luck than other guides I was reviewing. But, will all the guides, after a reboot...
Hey Tony,
I had to go back to a previous version of multibeast to get my sound to work after sleep, but now that I loaded the previous version, sleep doesn't work. Any thoughts?
Hey folks,
After waiting and waiting, I finally decided to upgrade my 10.8.5 Mountain Lion system to Mavericks. See my Mountain Lion Guide here http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-builds/101765-success-crawerics-latest-mac-gigabyte-ga-z77x-ud5h-core-i7-3770k-16gb-ram-gigabyte-radeon-6850hd.html...
True... I read on one of the posts (cannot remember where) that it was better to use the Atheros controller rather than the Intel. I did not try the Intel because of this post, but have used the Atheros for testing purposes, and works great. I love this setup more everyday. Now more than a...
More of a just in case I need wired ethernet as well. Currently the wireless is working great though so no need for wired at this point, but that may change.
I rarely put my system to sleep, but there are times when I want too... My previous build would sleep and wake perfectly with snow leopard, but when I moved to Lion and Mountain Lion, went away and I could never get it to work. I am pretty happy that this one at least sleeps manually!!
Nice build Gael!!! I will give the overvoltage a try to see if I can improve on my system a bit. Overall, I am very pleased with how my build has turned out and functions almost perfectly. I did finally test USB 3.0 and it is pretty quick with my external hard drive, so am convinced that...
My problem was that the system would 'appear' to sleep, but would never totally shut down... The CPU and fans would continue to run, but I could not bring it back. Had to press the power button and restart that way... At least now it is working. Thanks for reading.
I will try to get some photos today...
Update on my sleep issue... I read about every post that I could to see if there is something that would help. I tried:
Turning off 'Wake on LAN' - no luck
Setting my boot disk to the 'P0:' drive - no luck
Disabled the Marvell ports - no luck
Setting...
Bummer that I cannot get it to work with the Marvell connector. But, it works pretty fast on a regular port, and works great now that it is on the regular port. Thanks for the confirmation.
Hello folks,
So I have a perfectly working ML system. But, love to change things up, so I purchased a new SSD drive. I connect the drive to my Marvell ports on my motherboard (GA-X58A-UD3R), install via unibeast/ML and everything works beautifully, until I try to do multibeast for...
