Curious to know if all other ports are working? Are the Thunderbolt 3.0 ports working at all? I have the same board, will be attempting this weekend. Are the graphics artifacts present on standalone GPU?

Solved.....Was able to boot to Recovery partition, jumped to terminal, and the first and only kext removed was the FakeSMC. Rebooted, panic was gone. Finally!!! Thanks for all the help.

Man o Man. Still trying to figure this one out. Here is what I now know: The problem began after an install of El Capitan, coming from Mavericks with Chimera. Everything went fine until I installed Clover and ran the post install tools/clover config. Bios was reset to Defaults Booting...

Thanks. I may be making some progress here. If I attempt to boot from USB or Recovery in "Single Verbose" it looks like I get hung up at "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport". Note that my GPU is still unplugged. I'm also using a Bluetooth keyboard (not sure that matters) Any advice...

That's exactly right. I was able to Login to El Capitan and run the post install procedures, after the install. Attempting to boot in single user mode yields the same result. Perhaps I should try to flash the bios and try again?

I added CPUs=1 to Boot Args. Same result. In in viewing other posts re: kernel panics, it looks like the back trace section usually points to the underlying issue. No such detail with mine. Frustrating. Hmm....

Thanks Jagard, I'll try that flag tonight. I had been over clocked on my previous install of Mavericks, but reset to default bios settings before the El Capitan install. I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the response. So, removed my GPU, still get the Kernel Panic. I also removed 1 of my 2 memory sticks, and tried different slots. Still no luck. When I try to boot from USB in clover, my system ultimately hangs on a gray screen. same result when I boot from Recovery partition...

I got the attached kernel panic after installing with Unibeast and filling post install steps. Can someone smarter than me tell me what this means? I get the same error in safe mode, and cannot boot from USB or recovery (hangs up on a gray screen and spinning wheel at top left) thanks!!
