    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

I've never used the sleep features in OptiMac and I don't plan to. Booting time is OK for me and the Earth will keep spinning even if my carbon footprint is higher. My boot process is in high resolution mode but Legacy ROM is disabled in BIOS (I don't know what is CSM). Sorry I couldn’t...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

Nice. I didn't know the second DisplayPort is disabled with those settings. No idea! Maybe it's something related to Monterey. Two days ago I found out that my old Bluetooth 4.0 receiver from CSL didn't work in Monterey (it did on Big Sur). I just had to add the...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

Try this. It worked for me in Monterey: According to OptiHack: I had to switch my RX 590 with an old GTX 1050Ti disabled in macOS (Adobe Fresco only works with Direct X 12.1) and use the integrated DisplayPort. Currently I'm testing a iMac16,2 definition with my OptiMac. Every week a new...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

Me. I switched to the Macmini7,1 definition before upgrading directly from Big Sur to Monterey. Everything works OK. Currently I'm using OpenCore 0.7.5 and I'll upgrade to 0.7.6 in the coming days.

The Dell OptiMac Big Sur/OpenCore Thread - For 7020/9020 Optiplex Desktops

Initially, I switched my OptiMac to iMac 15,1 but some USB ports were not detected (front and back USB 3.0) when I generated a new USB map. Then I tried the Macmini7,1 some moths ago and everything is working perfectly. I'm using the latest Big Sur (macOS 11.6) and OpenCore 0.7.4.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

I've done a clean install just an hour ago. Everything went fine. I'm using OpenCore 0.6.3. The only annoying issue it's a persistent wifi icon on the status bar (see red arrow). I have no wireless adapter.

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

Using the RX 590: - With Enable Legacy Operation ROMs unchecked, Sleep doesn't work. macOS wakes up but screen is dark and system is not responding. Rebooting pops-up a message telling something went wrong. - With Enable Legacy Operation ROMs checked, macOS wakes up using a portion of the...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

Is it possible that the Optiplex owners manual is wrong? According to System Information in macOS the four SATA ports are 6 GB (see captures from my OptiMac 9020 MT). BTW, I've switched to OpenCore 0.5.8 and Catalina 10.15.5 (fresh install) following this guide (thanks zearp!) and I...

    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

So did I. Updating went smooth. I only had to move the DisplayPort input from RX 590 to upper DP in the computer case to see what was going on. I've using Catalina from mid December with no issues. BTW, thanks trs96 for your explendid work! This thread should belong to a Palladium Builds...
