How to Configure 4K Resolution for an Optiplex 3090 MFF ?

UPDATE: 4K unlocked \ issues introduced

i3-10105T Intel Arc website: Device ID = 0x9BC8

device-id was added to config.plist:

This unlocks 4K, however, it is problematic.

ISSUES
=====

1) moving the windows is not smooth and 'stutters"
2) The menu bar is cut off and has a black background:

I believe that the black background is a symptom of an issue (I do not recall the issue). Any suggestions or questions to diagnose the issues are appreciated.

It worked for me. I don't have all of the resolutions but I have many more of them.

@baryw Does 4K work on your system? If yes, please post EFI and lessons learned?

It does. I used the settings above.

Attached is my EFI.

EDIT - not sure why the EFI didn't get uploaded. See below for it.

Happy for you that you now have 4K working! My Optiplex 3090 MFF i3-10105T has 2 display ports.

* Please attach EFI?

* What settings were changed to enable 4K?

I am always interested in understanding that "What" and Why".

@gatorback - Sorry about that. I tried uploading my EFI but it must not have worked. Hopefully it will work this time.

To get 4K to work, you need to change Device Properties (DP) and copy the settings you see in the attached screenshot.

The what and why I believe are that these settings create the correct memory set-asides for 4k to work.

Take a look at my EFI. There are 2 configs. One for an external display, and the other one is for 4K. Look at the one that says 4K.

Let me know if you need further explanation.

the highest resolution i could get is 1080P...is there a way to achieve the 4k resolution...here is my efi please help
