First look at the Asus Z790-E ROG Strix Motherboard

others here using 12th gen and see what their experience has been.

.... who do we have to ask to get the webform for the Build Signatures updated:

Update/populate the options for the list boxes (drop-down menus):

1. For Z690 chipset - add Manufacturer and Board options, add CPU option for 12700, 12700K ...

2. Add Graphics Models: RX 6600, RX 6600 Xt, etc

And slightly off-topic:

3. For Z370 chipset - add Board option for Prime Z370M Plus II (not TUF).

TIA

wait but theres this guy on youtube saying 12th gen cpus are problematic and have stability issues. On the buyers guide it doesnt say to use 12th gen cpu, but rather 10th gen cpu's
I've been using 12900K for almost a year now. I have no stability problems. I have been testing 13600KF for several days and it works fine too.

13th gen CPU's even work ? Is there anything that isn't working ?
I haven't noticed anything was wrong. I am working on Logic PRO.

And that's not even ASUS's top-end board. Check out the Maximus Extreme EATX board O.O a cool $1000

What is the lowest CoreAudio buffer you can comfortably work with in Logic? I would love to switch to 64 samples/44.1kHz permanently, but my Z390/9900k is just not fast enough when mixing bigger Logic projects.

That's really impressive!

I was very happy with the 13600KF, but quickly changed to the 13900KF, which runs freely on 450 tracks.
