Wait no list of supported Macs?
I've read that everything supported by Monterey will continue to be supported.
Not sure yet if that's true. Would be nice.

Which Macs can run the new macOS

Apple is traditionally very good at keeping older Mac up today. Every Apple Silicon Mac will run the new OS, but it will also work on certain older Intel-based machines.

Though the list is subject to change as we go through the beta process, currently the Macs expected to work with the new macOS are the same as those for 2021's macOS Monterey.

Freeform, a sherlocking new app?

The Maxed Out M2 MBA costs about $2,500 USD but you can't even order it yet.
$600 to upgrade to the 2TB SSD. Really ? "Our most expensive MBA ever."
Why not just buy the base model 14" MBP with extra ram ? Makes more sense.

Here's the price of the 14" M1 Pro MBP with 32GB and 1TB SSD upgrades. Only $100 more than the MBA.

If true, that's a nice redesign although it's missing a number of other System Preference categories. In addition to making macOS look more like iOS/iPadOS, I'm intrigued by rumors of iPadOS finally supporting multiple overlapping windows for better multitasking (although only for M1-based iPads and only when connected to a keyboard and trackpad/mouse).

If the new iPadOS will also support screen extension -- not just screen mirroring -- to an external display, and support the proper resolution and aspect ratio of the external display, then M1 iPads will finally begin to make sense.
Woohoo!! :) Thanks Craig!

The pricing for RAM upgrades on the M2 MacBook Air don't make sense...

On the MacBook Air, it costs $400 to upgrade to 24GB RAM.

On the MacBook Pro, it costs $400 to upgrade to 32GB RAM.

On the Mac Studio, it costs $400 to upgrade to 64GB RAM.
