Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

Release candidate works fine on my box, OC 0.8.1 beta. Haven't observed any window server crashes yet. I also just tested hotplugging by plugging in a TB3 NVME enclosure (which is using JHL7540) and hotplugging is working very well. Drive mounts immediately. Bluetooth is not working however. The Fenvi BCM bluetooth USB device is detected but it doesn't load.
Regarding Fenvi Bluetooth, I have the BCM94360NG module in the Asus ROG Strix Z690-i Gaming WiFi, but I've disabled all Bluetooth-related kexts. WiFi and BT are both working well.

hmmmm. I'll disable all of them and report back!

Edit: without bluetoolfixup bluetooth can't even be enabled! it's completely disabled.

If the Broadcom driver is installed in Windows, then perhaps there’s some issue when flipping back and forth between macOS and Windows? Consider resetting NVRAM…

I'm currently testing the Z690-i Gaming WiFi (mini-ITX) build, but will switch to ProArt later in the day. Meanwhile, on the Z690-i, I just hot plugged my 14-port OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock and it connected right away.

Are you using this SSDT:
I am using that SSDT. Can you verify it is the same as yours?

My experience is the same as @CaseySJ with the BCM94360NG module. No kexts enabled, working well.

Might you have an amazon link for the device you're using? I think the Fenvi has BCM94360NG... it was working in Monterey so idk what the issue is.

I didn't install the drivers in Windows, but it could be Linux which loads drivers for both the Intel and Fenvi Bluetooth hardware. I tried a cold boot and resetting NVRAM, but it's still dead. I will tinker later and see what I can accomplish, bluetooth on this box in macOS is not that big a deal to me anyways...

I bought from New Egg in late November. Here's a link to the one I'm using.

Agreed -- it's good to hold on to the still relatively recent MSI Z590i. It's been two days since assembling the mini-ITX system and I'm really satisfied with the form factor. My plan is to hold on to the following 4 systems:
  1. Asus ProArt Z690-Creator WiFi (Lian Li O11 Air mini)
  2. Asus ROG Strix Z690-i Gaming WiFi (Meshlicious mini-ITX case)
  3. Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (BeQuiet PureBase 500DX)
  4. Gigabyte B550 Vision D (AMD Ryzen in NZXT H510i)
This means retiring the following systems soon:
  1. Gigabyte Z390 Designare (Phanteks Evolv X)
  2. Gigabyte Z390 Test Bench (open air test bench)
  3. Gigabyte Z690 Aero G (NZXT H510)
  4. Asus X99 Deluxe II (mid tower)
I'm sad to hear you're going to retire the Gigabyte Z690 Aero G system as your setup and advise caused me to get that system. Mine works perfectly, and I plan on keeping it, maybe putting it into a new case.

However, you inspired me to retire my older systems (MyHero II Z370 system and earlier).

How did you interface with the motherboard, was it by replacing the onboard Intel AX210 or by a PCIe NGFF converter card?
