pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Clover EFI updated to r5146.

OpenCore EFI updated to 0.8.0.
-ForceAquantiaEthernet enabled

*Note: Considering ending support for Clover EFI here because testing it screws up booting from OpenCore afterwards for me and I have to go through a convoluted process to fix it...
Since you post a complete build for opencore, there Is really no reason people are staying on clover. It would be like driving around a car with a blown engine when someone was offering to put a rebuilt engine in your car for free.

I have multiple hacks and I still keep a single bootable USB flash drive that works on all of them for emergencies and I can only do that with Clover's "OEM" feature. Otherwise, I much prefer OpenCore.

Hi @pastrychef , thanks for the update.
At boot for a few seconds I see this warning:
OCS: No schema for SerialInit at 5 index, context <Debug>!
In config.plist , I simply deleted the SerialInit string (from Misc/Debug) and it seems to work fine.

Hi @pastrychef , just updated to Monterey 12.3.1 directly with your updated opencore files (I used clover in big sur), also upgraded my Vega56 to an rx6600 and all works like a charm! Thank very much for all your work and time that you have dedicated to this build, it's awesome!

I have small issue, I have a second drive with win10 installation, I used to dual boot with clover with no issues but now with opencore the windows boot just gets stuck and never finishes, not even selecting the windows drive as the first boot, I tried booting with my old clover efi in a thumbdrive and booted to windows without issues, so I guess it's an opencore specific issue or configuration, I have searched for some answers but nothing really solves it, any ideas??

Sorry. I have no idea. When I need to boot Windows, I use the BIOS boot menu by spamming F8 key after pressing the power button...

Ok you got me there, but how many other people on this forum do it for that reason? I have multiple hacks and one USB to boot them all in emergencies... That said they all boot from the same EFI.. =).

Thanks for the response!, I still haven't found and answer so I'll keep booting from with the thumbdrive

Fixed. Thanks.
Hi pastrychef, I downloaded today and installed your latest 08 OC EFI and I am still getting the message
OCS: No schema for SerialInit at 5 index, context <Debug>!
I did reset nvram a couple of times but its still popping.
The SerialInit string (from Misc/Debug) mentioned by snoopy69 seems to be correct?
Any hint?
Other than the message before OC selector the system appears to boot normally.
