Hey guys!

I bought a new computer and tried to Hackintosh it like my old one, but it didn't work. I keep getting the screen with the forbidden symbol on it, even on verbose. I've looked around to see if there was any config I had to do on my MOBO BIOS (since my previous one I had to swap from IDE to AHCI), no luck. As far as I've read, it comes with AHCI by default and you don't need to change it.

I have the following specs:

  • Mobo ASRock H310M-G/M.2
  • Intel Core i5 8400 2.8ghz
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6gb
  • 16gb RAM 2400mhz HyperX
  • SSD Kingston a1000 m.2 240gb
  • HDD 1TB

I've done the whole steps on BIOS like:

1. To access BIOS/UEFI Setup, press and hold Delete on a USB Keyboard while the system is booting up
2. Load Optimized Defaults
3. If your CPU supports VT-d, disable it
4. If your system has CFG-Lock, disable it
5. If your system has Secure Boot Mode, disable it
6. Set OS Type to Other OS
7. If your system has IO Serial Port, disable it
8. Set XHCI Handoff to Enabled
9. If you have a 6 series or x58 system with AWARD BIOS, disable USB 3.0 (Didn't find it, just put "Legacy Enabled")
10. Save and exit.

Can you guys give me any clue? Thanks in advance. :)

Here's the screens of the error:

Hey, back with news.

I've used the USBInjectAll.kext and the Generic one from RehabMan too. The config.plist was already patched with PMHeart's when I remade the USB Install using Unibeast.

The USB Install booted up and started to copy the files to the HDD, 5 minutes remaining. Then at 2 minutes left it reboots.

I boot the HDD through the USB and it starts installing, 22 minutes remaining. 1 minute later It reboots.

I boot the HDD again and 13 minutes it says the system cannot be installed.

Is there anything I can do or log to paste here?

Boot in verbose mode and post a picture of the screen when it stops.

The booting itself runs fine. The rebooting/errors happen when the GUI Mac OS installer is live at file copy or during installation. :|

After copying, rebooting and rebooting again, this happens:

Have you installed XHCI-unsupported.kext ?

Since I didn't have an active macos, I pulled the kext from another HDD through the terminal of the installation and placed It in the EFI partition of my USB Install disk. Same error.

I'm starting to think that it's either the installation itself, the USB drive or that I should delete one of those kexts.

:/

PS: my Mobo doesnt have a place to Activate AHCI. As far as I've read, It comes by default with it.

PS-2: should i remove the NVe SSD and the other HDD to see If It would work?

Ok, I'm going to try and create a new USB Installation tomorrow and get all those kexts inside of it. I kinda gave up for now. I'm not going to pull the NV.e disk now. :)

I'll post the updates on the thread.
