Hi all!

I'm in need of some help with my first Hackintosh (and first PC ever..) setup. I've made it to the Clover boot menu, but when I try to boot from my USB stick I just get the Apple logo for a few seconds, and then get thrown right back to the ROG start screen (the one that says "press del or F2 to enter UEFI Bios".

The only changes I made in BIOS is to enable CSM launch, select the USB drive (guid partitioned) as my boot option # 1, and select "UEFI only" on boot from devices. My UEFI Bios is v2.19.1269. The USB bootloader was made with Unibeast, selecting the UEFI option. No additional kexts have been added yet. Is this the problem?

This ****** thread recommends B360 user to install the XHCI-300-series-injector.kext, but I can't find that anywhere. Hope someone can help out!

Note: The ATI Radeon graphics listed in my profile has not yet been added. Using the onboard mobo graphics.

Coffee Lake hardware is not supported on El Capitan.
You will need macOS High Sierra 10.13.0 or higher.

XHCI-300-series-injector.kext has been superseded by XHCI-unsupported.kext

Hi BreBo, thanks for helping out. Attached is the verbose image. This morning I also tried "load optimized defaults", but then it just froze on the verbose screen and would not return to the mobo startup like it did yesterday..

Also try a different memory fix driver.
Remove OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 and add AptioMemoryFix-64 or OsxAptioFix3Drv-64

Tried this, but without any luck unfortunately. Made the bootable High Sierra (Guid partitioned /UEFI) but now I get the prohibited sign when booting. Tried both memory driver suggestions. Tried all USB ports in the cabinet. Tried with the BIOS recommendations from the Tonymac High Sierra installer guide.

Please see attached verbose log. Does it give you any answers?

PS: Also tried this without luck.

"Still waiting for root device".
When installing this means that your USB flash drive cannot be found.
This is usually because the flash drive is in a USB3 port.
If this is the case move it to a USB2 port, if it is already in a USB2 port move it to another and try again.
Repeat until you have tried all USB ports.
Use a USB2 flash drive.
If it still doesn't work you could try another flash drive.
You might also try enabling Legacy on your USB3 ports in your BIOS settings.
If you only have USB3 ports try with your USB flash drive in a USB2 hub.
Make sure Fast Boot is not activated in your BIOS.

May require USBInjectAll.kext in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/.
May require XHCI-unsupported.kext in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/.

Thanks BreBo, those kexts got me a step further! Now I’m stuck at the High Sierra progress bar. It just says “two minutes remaining” for hours. Tried checking USB ownership and USB injection under PCI devices at clover options but I’m still stuck at the bar.. Any thoughts?
