Idk what i changed, but cleaned efi and just thoose 2 kexts in other + hd620spoof.plist

Voodoops2
Fakesmc
And it booted. Now im installing

Hmm I don't get it working. I don't know. I tried all solutions I found.

Spoofing KabyLake as Skylake should work by using config_HD615_620_630_640_650_spoof.plist (renamed config.plist).
However what about DVMT-prealloc?

Hmm.

Or do I have to change ids? And what ids should I change?

I have my galaxybook up and running with High Sierra, and I also opened it up the other day and swapped out the SSD for a bigger one.
Wondering, the wifi card is a Qualcomm Qca61x4a- is there an alternate card I could get to swap out that would be compatible with MacOS? I did this on my Dell laptop with ease, but I only knew which card to get after reading other people's posts.
Can anyone suggest where I can go to find out about alternate cards that could replace this one?

Hi, thanks for the response.
Can I ask where you are getting this from, what makes you think its the BCM94352Z?
Because that happens to be the exact same one that I bought for my Dell a while back.

I have googled it, but nothing, its such a specific request, there doesn't seem to be any info on it.

Did you manage to make the touchscreen work?
I wrote to touch-base.com recently, since I purchased their driver for the Surface Pro years ago. He had me look up the device ID for the digitizer, but he said "It looks like the touch device is not USB, probably i2c."
So no luck.

Recommended WiFi hardware is in the FAQ:

True, and thank you, but recommended Wifi hardware doesn't really tell you which hardware is physically similar to another hardware in order to know what can replace what.

I answered my own question last night by opening up the Galaxybook again, this time removing every screw and removing just about every component, which has led me to realize that the Wifi card must be integrated into the logic board itself (unlike, say, my Dell laptop), so there is no hope of swapping out the card.

Yup... laptops with soldered WiFi do not make good hacks.
