Could someone share a working Clover config.plist and an archived EFI folder? I'm having some peculiar issues and would very much like to see a working set (especially for High Sierra) if possible.
You could first put your hardware in your profile. https://www.tonymacx86.com/account/personal-details
Specifically graphics and CPU. If you have an 8300 just put that and the case form factor in the mobo section.

Hey, yeah, sorry about that @trs96. Just arrived for my son's birthday (tomorrow) so I have to have this done tonight if humanly possible. :s The forum maintenance really buggered up my timeframe here too as I have to run for a bit now... Also having a hard time fitting the details of all my boxes (I have several) in the profile below atm so I thought I'd dive in here and add that as soon as I can, hopefully by tomorrow morning, but get you what you need here right now:

This is a Compaq 8300 Elite CMT (Convertible Microtower) with a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition 4GB (ZT-P10510B-10L). Do you need anything else for the moment?

Which CPU ? You can also upload your clover config.plist from your system drive.

@trs96 THANKS: Core i7-3770 @ 3.4 GHz and here is the plist that was installed via MultiBeast that is NOT booting.
You've got too many DSDT patches and also too much in kexts to patch. None of these are added by running multibeast. For a quick fix try replacing that config.plist with the one on the Unibeast drive and then try booting. Make sure to uncheck nv_disable=1 at the Clover Boot Mgr. screen. You can remove it permanently after the Nvidia web drivers are working correctly.

If the above doesn't work for you, remove the 1050 Ti and do a clean install with the HD4000 graphics. That always works with no problem. It's best to use the onboard DP output rather than VGA. Then after you've run multibeast with just the minimal suggested choices, Install the correct Nvidia web drivers. Shut down and then reinstall the 1050 Ti graphics card and try to boot from the hard drive.

WHAT ON EARTH?! I 100% guarantee @trs96 I did not add any of these. Where would they have come from? This was a very simple install, I ran MultiBeast (most recent update) as per norm and with the noted items at the beginning here and nothing else. This is extremely peculiar...

I'll give that a go as soon as I'm back. Thanks for catching that as I truly never dreamed of that happening. This has me really scratching my head... how oh how could I have gotten some other config without ever doing it myself directly (which I didn't)...

One thing on these kinds of installs would be very helpful, that is, if there were a pre-done plist that offered a solid baseline for sanity checks like this, I think it would avoid a lot of strange things and support headaches such as this. But I do really appreciate folks like you who take so much time to help the community.

So @trs96, thanks very much again, your advice did get my horse pointed north. I was able to use the Unibeast config.plist with the nv_disable removed, however I am concerned generally about this config.plist situation. Can you throw any settings (or an actual config.plist tweaked out) that would make sure I'm not missing anything critical?

Your suggestion of this workstation is so outstanding (the processor alone is worth more than the price for which I got this system) that I went ahead and purchased another one for another family member, so thanks very much for calling attention to this excellent package.

I don't generally include a stand alone config.plist or the whole Clover folder because it will tend to make my readers not read and follow the guide in detail. When all the steps are followed the correct .plist will be created on your system drive with a few needed tweaks to it later on, depending on your specific hardware. It's all clearly spelled out in the guide or you can watch the High Sierra install video which is also step by step. Here is the link: HP 8300 Elite High Sierra Video Guide

When you install on your next one try watching the video as you do the install, it's under 20 minutes long.

Hope your son has a great Birthday party today.

I did watch that video and followed it precisely. This is what is strange. I would normally scrap this and start over again, but I've got 30 years of unix experience and am quite adept with about 10 hackintosh systems already under my belt and in regular use. This is certainly an exceptional situation and merits deeper scrutiny. I'd like to diff a sane config.plist vs going through the entire process again. Could you contact me via PM so you don't have to break with tradition @trs96?

Thanks very much for the well wishes for him!
