I still struggle with my R9 290X which works OOB with Sierra (no patches, no ATI injection, just RadeoDeInit=True) However I still got the common "black on boot" problem which can be "solved" with a quick unplug/plug the DVI Port connector cable.
However the most simple hint, enabling the Intel HD4000 graphics in the Bios, does not work with my setup. Enabling iGFX leads to the classical "cannot allocate memory" error in the early boot phase. I have enabled the latest OsxAptioFix2 and 3 drivers which are ok when iGFX is disabled

i`m having problems with my gigabyte RX 580 8Gb, 10.13.3 , everything working ok with LILU and Whatevergreen, two 4k DP monitors, but having freezes with moving cursor from times to times, already tried using radeondeinit alone , but the same happens, what can i try to fix?

My CustoMac update 10.13.4 beta4 (17E170c) went well. But there was some weird progress while in the updating. Black screen after clover entry but I knew there was something going on so I kept letting it stay in dark for a while. And it rebooted itself. And it showed me login screen. I have no lilu, whatevergreen, and appleALC. My kexts folder in EFI has only FakeSMC, and Lankexts. Only I patched is USB with new kextpatch in config.plist (it makes front USB3.0 are working). Everything is working well with iMac Pro1,1 SMbios. Check it detail in Here

Googled this card so hard and it’s so elusive in the hackintosh community. Bring 10.13.4 now
The Kexts contain the ID already in the beta 13.4 version 3-4.
Huge improvements for AMD cards no more need for rad deinut or whatevergreen they run pretty much natively, but still occasional bugs here and there.

Thanks for the update Gigamaxx. I received the card yesterday and it works OOB like all the rest of the vega's (it's vega GPU after all), so very happy about that. What is rad deinut? I use whatevergreen atm.
Now I have a question for you
You say huge improvement, does that mean compatibility / speed increase? Just to know what to look forward in 13.4, besides it names the card proberly WX9100 in "About this mac".Cheers!
