Hi,

I just updated my stem today to 10.13.3 and installed the new Nvidia driver and ever since I updated the UI seems to be laggy especially when it comes to browsers. Chrome and Safari seem to have a bit of a UI lag when screen switching though Chrome is worse. There is also slight lag when loading pages or playing videos through the browser. Anyone else have this problem or have this issue in the past when they updated? Wondering what to do about it.

My system is
Gigabyte GA-Z170X Ultra Gaming
Intel i5 6600K Skylake
Evga GeForce 1050 Ti

Solved: I solved the issue by installing an older version of the Nvidia Webdriver using Webdriver All Versions. The link for this app can be found in the discussion here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...s-high-sierra-10-13-3-387-10-10-10-25.243857/

Hi, couldn't find the link to Webdriver All Versions on the thread, just mentions of it.
Which version of the drivers are you currently running?

Hey man I will upload the file here if you cannot find it! The version of the webdriver I am using is:
378.10.10.10.25.106 macOS 10.13.2 High Sierra (17C2205)

Thanks ... helped me too

same here with a GForce GTX960,

updated high sierra to 10.13.4

last nvidia driver gives me laggy interface
I came across this post and tried benjamin script, it installed me back to 25.106 web driver instead of the 30.103

Now the machine works smoothly.

however, GTX1080 machine works fine with latest driver (30.103)

Hi,

maybe someone will be able to help me with this.

I installed High Sierra (clean install) 10.13.4 and then latest (30.103) nvidia drivers. It works kind of fine, but I felt it's a bit laggy sometimes, so I wanted to try that script as well. But after it installed 25.106 (in fact if when I installed any other version except latest one), my GTX960 is not "recognized" in About This Mac I see "Display 5 MB" and resolution is small, glitching etc.

It's my first hackintosh and I hope someone will be able to help me, otherwise everything seem fine so far.

did you activate the "nvidia driver boot flag" with multibeast ?
and of course you should NOT activate the "nvidia driver" flag.
