Hey guys, i have tried searching through the forum for anyone reporting on the 1050 and cant seem to find if anyone has gotten HDMI audio working on it. I had HDMI audio working fine in Sierra on my old ATI HD5870 card however i cant for the life of me get it working with my new gigabyte 1050 ti card.

I have tried the HDMIAudio.kext method with no success. I have also tried using a DP to HDMI adapter as some people have suggested but this still isn't giving me audio.

Has anyone had success with this card?

Cheers,
Sean

What gigabyte 1050 ti card do you have?

I have the Ti OC 4gb (single fan) without PCI-e power connector and having other issues with it including HDMI audio

Yeah i tried voodooHDA, still no luck :(

What issues are you having? I have the same card, did you download the new pascal drivers from NVidia?

Have you gotten audio with nvidia geforce gtx 1050 ti in Sierra?

Have same issue with EVGA 1050 Ti card with no PCIe power. NVIDIA web drivers installed. 10.12.4. Cannot get HDMI audio to show as output source. Two HDMI audio devices show in system profiler, suspect one is internal graphics and one is NVIDIA card. Internal HD530 HDMI audio works without issue. Tried toleda HDMI audio script, it detected NVDIA card and enabled, but it still doesn't show as an output source. HDMIAudio.kext doesn't work either.

Tried with SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-PEG0.aml and PEG1 SSIDs, loaded either with no difference.

Next I will try a DP -> HDMI adapter.

nothing was working for me (though ive yet to try DVI2HDMI adapter) to get sound trough HDMI on my GTX 1050 ti OC. I tried so many solutions, VoodooHDA 2.8.8, 2.8.9, AppleHDA Disabler, Toleda's patcher app, HDMIaudio.kext, DP-to-HDMI adapter, custom DSDT .. in the end, I just stumbled onto a newer version of VoodooHDA (2.9) on Sourceforge and it did the trick:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/voodoohda/

The new Voodoo also got the rear audio ports working (they were also not showing up before)

BTW the system is a Dell Optiplex 7010:
- Ivy Bridge i5-3570
- GTX 1050 ti OC

Hey guys, just thought i would post an update to anyone having issues with this still. I gave up after a while, but have just installed VooDooHDA 2.9 like the above post and mine is also working now. I couldn't find the 2.9 installer so i downloaded the latest kext file from the same link above and used kextbeast to install.
