I'm having a hard time tracking down a wifi Card. I'm going to be using a GA-H110N Motherboard (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CUEA9UE/?tag=tonymacx86com-20), which sports a spot for an M.2 wifi card. I like that it doesn't actually come with a card, which means I didn't spend money on something I won't be using.

After searching both here and google, I got the consensus that the Broadcom BCM94352Z is the way to go, but don't buy one from China on eBay. All I'm able to find on Amazon is the BCM94352HCB, which I have come to understand is a PCIe card. I don't really have room for an adaptor, and would rather just use the right card in the first place.

Is the BCM94352Z from China going to work? Is there another card I should use? Can someone give me a link to a reputable and reasonably priced supplier for the right card?

Thanks in advance,
Jacob

Ive purchased stuff from China and so far I have not received anything faulty. The only thing is the shipping. I can take a while. The card you chose should work. I have purchased that card before and worked with kexts and patch. There is another option you can do for native support. You can purchase the card BCM94360CS2. It is an Apple MacBook Air card and then get an adapter for it. The card and adapter look like this:

Both items can be found on eBay. I didn't put the links because I do not know if links from eBay are allowed.
I have this in my current build and works with no problems.

According to this post, you can swap it for a Broadcom M.2 card, and it works. I'm going to try this too.

Anyone?

This is a card from China. How much risk is it to get it?

Jacob
Hi, I wonder if you have finally bought the wifi card for China? I'm in the same position and even can't be sure if the cards are genuine!

Folks & Experts,

I need your support WiFi & BT card (BCM94360CS2 Card + M.2 NGFF Adapter) is too slow.
(means to load a webpage it takes 5 minutes).
Same Page I load with USB WiFi Adapter works Blazing fast. Please help me.
My Settings & Components:

Hello jhenu,
I don't know if I have any advice for you. Since my build recognize my card I didn't have any problems with it. I didn't have to do any changes or try anything to improve the speed. Speedtest has my speeds at 31mps download. I know this is a dumb question but do you have antennas on it?

@aztlan78
I'm having an interesting problem.

I see the card in Network Preferences and it shows up in ioreg explorer and system report.
But I'm not able to turn wifi on (Clicking the Turn Wi-Fi on button does nothing).
At one point, wifi was turned on, but it was not picking up any SSID.
Now it show SSID asks for password, shows "Cannot Connect"
Both in windows and macOS.
Note that the bluetooth radio does seem to be working.
Any suggestions for what my troubleshooting steps should be?

Sorry jhenu, I cannot think of what it could be other than the suggestions that were already given on this thread. Now you said it happens on both Mac and Windows, can there be something wrong with your router, or perhaps it could be the card failing? Have you tried resetting the Modem?
