Hey,
after read your last posts a little, 1080 is not working right? so is better if i wait for buy a new customac?
thanks
Very true, we're all waiting for the release of those drivers. The 1080 does not yet have drivers for the Mac side. Once they hit, there will be lots of activity on this site for sure. Technically, the 1080 will display 1600x1200 via HDMI as-is, but it is not accelerated and not usable for the reasons that one buys a 1080. Many of us use the HD530 graphics via HDMI in the meantime as it is now usable once setup correctly.
But in order to do this action I need to enter into the bios every time that I need to change os ?Yes. Just make sure to set iGPU as primary and when you boot into Windows 10, switch your monitor to your nVidia card.
You can leave iGPU enabled in your firmware always. When you boot into Windows, changing your monitor input to whatever is connected to your 1070 will start working. I have had a couple setups working quite well with my 1070. The first was using iGPU on macOS and 1070 in windows, and now I have both my old gtx 660 for macOS and 1070 for Windows plugged in. I just need to remember to swap my monitor input to the right connection before trying to boot into macOS.
Can you give us some more detail? I'd not mind giving this a try.But your GTX 1070 can run it without Nvidia drivers.
