For those of you having problems installing with an M.2 NVMe SSD, I recommend you take a look at the installation procedures in my Gene build which uses the Samsung 950 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD.

In this build, I chose to use an ACHI M.2 drive to eliminate the NVMe hassle.
 
Hey Stork the wifi/bt cards that you and Nullspirit have gotten can you confirm if Airdrop and Handoff works and if they did can you list were you ordered them from?

Forgot to ask how do I get About this Mac to correctly show my RAM speed it's not showing 3200 but a lower number.

Airdrop Works for me. Handoff seems to be supported (About Mac > System Report > Bluetooth)

I never really know how to make handoff work even on my Macbook Pro. Never bother to look into this.
To me, handoff has been haphazard. :p

The card I bought from China, is the first part of my build which i feel "It just works" :D

Regarding the ram speed, remember to set XMP profile in BIOS. At least that's how I got mine to work.

For sound, please follow #1 post of this thread since you are having the same board as Stork's build. I am not in front of my build, I remember I use multibeast and selected Realtek ALC1150 and 100 Series Audio. And applied Rehabman Code Commander with Kextbeast.

One thing to note, after unzipping Rehabman CodecCommander, copy the .kext file from the unzipped folder and place it on your desktop. And run Kextbeast.

For Intel HD530, it works better on El Capitan then Sierra.

i will post my steps in a while after I am right in front of my build as I think screenshot will make it clearer.

Ahh, I'll try the second part with Kextbeast. The graphics issue I'm having is so bad that video won't play even if it's a supported file format or in vlc.
 
Sweet! Sound is working. Now to just wait on some sort of fix for video...
