I realized while poking around Newegg looking for a firewire PCI card that I didn't actually need firewire, just a high speed interface for my backup hard drive... and it has an eSATA port on it, which means that this should work fine for my needs...

Unfortunately, from looking around, it seems like there are issues with the 560ti working on Snow Leopard, And quite possibly the 550ti has issues as well, getting stuck in 1024x768... anyone care to confirm? Might have to bite the bullet and upgrade to Lion so I have more GFX card choices...
