    @Feartech yeah :-) the post by @TaurianVita indicated he also has one so that's mainly why I responded. I'm aware that the stuff here is all about Hackintosh though.

    @TaurianVita I installed a 970 Plus in a MBP Mid 2015 (Sintech Adapter) and so far it works great. I had to update the firmware though because otherwise it would self-reset during system boot. FW update was MUCH simpler than I thought: you can simply use Etcher to write the 970 Plus Update...

    Things to compare would also include sustained write performance, energy consumption and temperature.

    @dmitry_matora Have you checked the logs (/var/log/system.log, sudo dmesg)? What file system(s) are you using?
