@TaurianVita I installed a 970 Plus in a MBP Mid 2015 (Sintech Adapter) and so far it works great. I had to update the firmware though because otherwise it would self-reset during system boot. FW update was MUCH simpler than I thought: you can simply use Etcher to write the 970 Plus Update...

Things to compare would also include sustained write performance, energy consumption and temperature.

I had been asking because the system errors you received don't exactly look like what I would expect from a flakey storage device. Note that I'm not doubting your observations but both as a dev and being interested in using the EVO Plus I'm interested in what's going on. But perhaps there's...

@dmitry_matora Have you checked the logs (/var/log/system.log, sudo dmesg)? What file system(s) are you using?
