    Hard drives suddenly not mounting

I have OSX installed on an internal SSD. In addition I have 2 other internal SATA drives and an external USB drive. I went to use my computer today and the only drive that mounts is the primary SSD. Disk Utility shows my external drive but if I try to mount it I get "Count not mount "disk2s2"...

How to create a bootable Windows 10 USB in OS X using Terminal

I used some of the suggestions in this thread but haven't been able to make a bootable disk. Possibly things have changed with Catalina. I'm running Catalina 10.15.4. I used the initial terminal instructions, it copied all the files to the USB drive but it did not appear in my systems boot menu...

    Catalina will not install

I stripped out the kexts in Clover and was able to get it to install. I ran the new Multibeast 12. Fixed airport and now I'm just working on getting sound back. I'm sure I'll find some more quirks on the way that I'll have to address.

    Catalina will not install

Here's the clover folder. I didn't change anything from the default that Unibeast created.

    Catalina will not install

Created a Catalina boot USB stick witb Unibeast. Set my BIOS settings as recommended. I boot off the USB, get to Clover 5102, select Boot macOS Install from Install macOS Catalina, I get the Apple logo and progress bar the about 15 seconds later, the computer restarts. I’ve attached the verbose...

    Catalina freezes at boot

Oh ok. I was following some instructions I found here to get sound back. Any way to revert so I can boot again? Thanks.

    Catalina freezes at boot

I installed Catalina as a direct upgrade from Mojave. It worked pretty well, but I didn’t have WiFi or sound, which was expected. I fixed the WiFi with the right kexts, rebooted and everything was fine. I tried to fix the sound by adding the AppleALC and lilu kexts to l/e. On restart this didn’t...

[Solved] macOS could not be installed on your computer...installer resources error

I have the same problem. I tried the ./startosinstall method but did work due to the license error. I tried Ylx’s method and it spits out the usage for the cp command as if my syntax is wrong. I’m not strong with Unix commands but see the attached pic for what I’m getting. What am I missing?

<< Solved >> Cannot create bootable Mojave USB with Unibeast

Thanks for the instructions. I tried it and it didn't solve the problem though. However, I have an internal module in my computer which connects to the USB2 pins on the motherboard which gives me SD card slot and CF slot. I unplugged it, rebooted and now I finally have a UEFI: USB option to boot...

<< Solved >> Cannot create bootable Mojave USB with Unibeast

I've tried and retried this so many times and I'm at my wits end. I've followed the guide to create a Mojave bootable USB drive. I'm using a 16 GB stick. It's a brand new one since I couldn't get my previous stick to work either. I have a series 9 motherboard so I tried the UEFI options first...

    Unable to boot from USB

I created another boot disk using Sierra, with the Sierra Unibeast. Same issue; I have no UEFI USB option to boot from. I unplugged all my drives except for the new drive which is wiped. I definitely created the USB boot drive using UEFI in Unibeast. I also selected the USB key as the first boot...

    Unable to boot from USB

This will be long winded, but I'll try to go over everything I've tried. I currently have Yosemite installed on my machine. I figured it was time to upgrade to Mojave. I downloaded the installer from the App Store but I'm one of those people who only get the 22 MB file, so I downloaded the rest...
