My thinking exactly. Any preference between Intel graphics 520, 610 & 620? I am finding those 3.

Thank you for that, looking at the specs, this is exactly what I am looking for. I'm guessing the Intel Graphics 620 is also whats needed, for some reason I found one with Radeon R5-M430GPU. I'll keep looking.

Hi, I have been using a Lenovo X220 for years, I love that little machine as I have it dual boot (Win10 & Catalina) on 2 different physical drive (one mSATA SSD and regular SSD). But really it has now run out of oomph. It's hard to look and find, so many options to investigate. Does anyone...

    How to Fix iMessage

Good news, well my wife who has an iPhone with her AppleId works without any issues. I will wait to try my AppleId, which was never associated with Apple hardware. I have a valid id as I bought movies from iTunes before. Thanks!

    How to Fix iMessage

The long guide said that I had to generate a SN which passed "We're sorry, the number you have provided cannot be found in our records. Please verify the number and try again ", so that is what I was trying to do, without success. I also read the long guide on calling support (Chapter 8), which...

    How to Fix iMessage

Yes, I read the "idiot guide", and correct it does say that, which the "long guide" here does not. So, when I tried to get support (to resolve iMessage issue), the first thing is they ask is for the serial number, and it does not pass that check, so I cannot even get a callback for support.

    How to Fix iMessage

I try and and try, I cannot seem to generate a valid S/N with clover. I keep getting : We're sorry, but this serial number is not valid. Please check your information and try again Then the S/N is either black-listed or failing the OSX S/N validation checks, do not use it - generate new S/N...

    HP Probook 640 G1 Hackintoshable?

I know this is an old thread, but not finding much new. Can an HP ProBook 640 G1 be used with Mojave? I just have a line on one. Did anyone get to that level? I know I have to replace the WIFI. Does the webcam? Did you also replace the display? Anything specific that does not work?

On a whim tried VoodooHDA and AppleHDADisabler and boom sound. And boot time is much faster. There must have been something wrong at boot up. If I wanted to debug, any way to logs?

I just updated and still same problem. Lilu is 1.3.3 and AppleALC is 1.3.5. No go. In Preferences -> Sound -> Output is empty. Any ideas? This was working! Wish I had a backup to go to, but my clone backup is at current level. Damm.

Oops updated to latest 10.14.3 Mojave, and no sound. It was working on 10.14.2. I've re-checked my SSDT setup and all is as specified. Anyone have any idea? Boot time is also quite long.

[Guide] HP 6300 Pro / HP 8300 Elite - A 100 percent Working and Easily Affordable CustoMac

Ok, I just did the upgrade. Problem, Clover does not appear to recognize the MAC drive. Slight panic, but I think Mojave is APFS, no? Is there something I need to add to clover to recognize APFS? SOLVED: I downloaded apfs.efi and put in /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI/ Up and running in Mojave...

Great, thanks! I'll make my usual bootable clone backup. Should I simply go ahead and update from Apple? Any gotchas? Thanks!
