Hello, finally getting back to you and thanks for the suggestion. Could you maybe point out which are the parts of config.plist that should be left out? I am not a huge expert and I usually modify it through Clover Configurator, and for example I don't see referemces to Intel in there...

well what I meant is I am using NullEthernet.kext AND RealtekRTL8111.kext. I thought NullEthernet was meant as a fix to use in addition to the actual Ethernet kext...

Makes perfect sense. What I find strange is that if I do NOT inject Oland in Clover, the HDMI port is dead. If I do, it comes alive and outputs the screen. In all of this, "Oland" isn't even a frame buffer name. Don't you find it odd? ><

I don't know if I understand correctly, but you're saying that there's a chance I can make it work by following one of the guides to patch the framebuffer? I'll try again from scratch then, the last thing I tried to do before coming to get help was following the first of the three guides...

Yes, enabled trimforce. So that's what causes the message... But more importantly: Removed, got a black screen upon restart. Changed config.plist again using another computer, restored Oland > still black screen, can't get to the desktop. Puzzled.

What I was wondering is why this broken signing only affects the enabling of HDMI audio and not the Realtek integrated soundcard audio too.. I have another Sierra build, where AppleHDA isn't "broken", I verified with the terminal command. So I took it from there and copied it to this desktop...

I'm going to have to transfer the installer from the other Mac, as for some reason it won't let me sign in to the App Store with an unspecified error. But I can give it a try...
