Hello, can you confirm if the Thunderbolt 3 ports/devices are functional in this build?
I cant seem to find the z490 Vision D anywhere and this motherboard is beautiful. I'm building an audio workstation and need Thunderbolt 3 ports to work, although thunderbolt 4 i'm sure i could live without...
I'm at my wits end. I appreciate any help! -___-
Description of audio problem: At first my audio devices showed up, but had no sound and ALL media players would be stuck at 0:00, including videos youtube/VLC/quicktime they just wouldn't load/play. I ran through the steps again, and...
I'm thinking of building a system with this motherboard and cpu.
Just wondering if everything else is functional/stable so far.
I'm building for someone else, who likely won't be able to resolve issues.
I see that h370 was just added to the buyers guide so i'm thinking of going...
Hey thanks for stopping by guys.
My original plan was to upgrade my hackintosh. Then I got the Mac Pro, I just figured that it being a 2008 model A1186, that it probably wouldn't be up to par as far as upgrade capability, like Sata III speeds for multiple Hard Drives. Maybe I was wrong? I...
I thought I'd post here to get some feedback. I came here because I'm currently running this setup that i built about 5 years ago, and my boot times and overall performance have felt sluggish as of late:
-GA-x58a-ud3r rev 2.0 on the FH DSDT i believe
-i7-960 with a Thermaltake...
Just move it to the trash? Isn't that what I did originally?
I removed the other one from IONetworkingfamily.kext/contents/plugins
Anything I should do before restart? Repair permissions with kext utility?
Well I put back the realtek.kext, however to no avail.
Maybe it is possible i accidently installed another kext the last time I used multibeast. Is there a way to check what is installed that possibly shouldn't be?
I was able to get in to safe mode by using -v -x (Verbose, Safe Mode). Before I mess anything else up, what is the best way to go about finding and repairing whatever it is that is causing the trouble?
I appreciate your help! :]
I did figure that much out from the MultiBeast pdf, however i just didn't know how to open the IONetworkin.kext file at first.
When I insert the USB i get the option to boot from the USB or Mountain Lion drive.
Upon selecting USB, I am taken directly to the OSX installation utility, and my...
Ive been searching around here for hours trying to find a solution to this.
Basically, I was having problems with kernal panics upon downloading t*****ts.
I read that the Realtek kext in multibeast was most likely the problem, I couldn't figure out how to remove the old kext, but...
64 bit kext necessary?
I just built my hackintosh with a similar setup.
x58a-ud3r rev2 fh
6gb gskill ram (probably going to get more)
nvidia Geforce 9500 gt
I got everything working well, my questions are in regards to the multibeast options.
Mountain Lion is only...
