OS X El Capitan Public Beta is Now Available

As you can see in my screenshot USB3 is recognized, but attached USB 3.0 devices only work at 480Mbit/s. They should connect at 5Mbit/s.

Sorry, but I can't see any USB 3.0 device attached. And if there is one, it has to be at 5Gbit/s speed .

Thanks for sharing. Your dsdt looks very identical to my one. USB 3.0 Stick is recognized in system information, but it connects only at 480 MBit/s. Please check at your side.

Hey jbamford, you have same mobo (z77-ds3h) as I do. I am struggling with USB ports. Do You have working USB 3.0 setup?

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

Yes, if I disconnect mouse and keyboard before sleep it doesn't wake before power button is pressed. That makes no difference. Is it possible to take the FW from the ASUS BT400 and load it into the Inateck? Maybe it depends on the FW version?

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

The other two devices, which won't work without BrcmPatchRAM.kext I wanted to point out that loaded kext cause the instant wake. Do you have a build were BrcmPatchRAM.kext is loaded, a BT mouse is paired during sleep, and you are able to wake it via mouse button.

Airdrop and Magic Mouse are working fine in that scenario

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

ASUS BT400 4096 without BrcmPatchRAM works fine. It sleeps and wake if mouse button is pressed. ASUS BT400 with BrcmPatchRAM 5563 wakes instant after sleep.

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

Yes, but why does it only wake if BrcmPatchRAM is loaded? Same BT device without BrcmPatchRAM stays a sleep till mouse button is pressed. I would like to figure out why it happens to use a finding where the kext is needed to make the BT device functioning.

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

Is it a matter of BT FW or FW loaded by kext which causes the instant wake? From my point of view my builds don't have generally sleep issues. With the BT400 or a CSR 4.0 device it stays in sleep mode and it wakes by mouse key. If you disable "wake by USB" it wakes only by power button.

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

There is no item "Wake on USB" in BIOS. Is it possible to load firmware c4096 into devices? That is the one from the ASUS BT400 which is working fine without kext.

BrcmPatchRAM - Upload firmware into Broadcom Bluetooth USB devices

Hello, I have three devices Inateck (0a5c_21ec), ASUS BT400 (0b05_17cb) and Azurewave 4352HMB (13d3_3404). The BT400 works out of the box. It sleeps ok. The other two needs the kext. But with BrcmPatchRAM loaded all three wake instantly after sleep if magic mouse is connected. Without paired...
