I tried it out this morning; however, still no working USB 3.x ports at least not in the context of being able to connect any USB 3.x devices. Connecting USB 2.0 devices to any/all of the USB 3.x ports works fine. First time I've ever wished I had more USB 2.0 devices.
I don't really "need" to...
Greetings Pilgram,
I just thought I'd send you an update as you had previously replied to my post. The system is now currently running High Sierra 10.13.6 with the following hardware:
Gigabyte Z590 AORUS Master
i7 11700K
AMD RX580
32GB RAM
Fenvi FV T919
Everything works, with the exception...
Greetings Middleman,
I have an update to my post from earlier today. Bluetooth is now working fine. The only apparent "issue" at this time is the previously mentioned USB issue, whereas the USB ports will recognize a USB 2.0 Flash Drive; however, will not recognize any USB 3.x devices. If this...
(Update to this posted below this post)
Greetings Middleman,
Apologies for the very delayed reply. As it happens so often, Life is what happens when you have other plans and I got busy with other and more pressing priorities, so I had to put this one the back burner for a while. I wasn't even...
Greetings Middleman,
It's taken me a couple of days to get back to this. First of all, I'd like to thank you for your help and patience. I'm by no means an expert when it comes to EFI configurations, nor am I a complete noob. I'm pretty sure I'd been spending too much time on this as indicated...

I understand that you’re referring to BIOS settings. I’ll verify them again a bit later and post screenshots. We all know that BIOS layouts and options vary, often even from one BIOS version to the next for the same motherboard.
Thank you again. I sincerely appreciate the help.

Middleman,
Thank you very much for your response and help. I tried the EFI folder you uploaded and am now getting an "End SetConsoleMode" message, which throws me into recovery mode. To complicate things, I'm working with a cloned drive with a High Sierra install that's running on another...
Thank your for your reply. I happen to know that others have been successful at running High Sierra on a Z590 with both 10th and 11th gen processors, however, with limitations such as all USB ports only operating as USB 2.0 and onboard Ethernet not working. I just need help with getting USB...
I'm attempting to get High Sierra running on a Gigabyte Z590 AORUS Master, currently running an i5-10600K (though I may switch to an i7-11700K) with a RX580. I can get the system to boot; however, none of the USB ports work, so I'm kinda stuck. I expect I'll find that there are other issues...
Would you be willing to share your EFI Folder and any info about BIOS settings? I also have a Z390 I Aorus Pro WiFi (F8 BIOS), though I using integrated graphics on an i9-9900K. I've had the system running Big Sur using OpenCore 0.6.4 for over a year and want to upgrade to Monterey. I tried...
Have you been able to get your system up and running on Monterey? I also have a Z390 I Aorus Pro WiFi system updated with the F8 BIOS, though I using integrated graphics on an i9-9900K. I've had the system running Big Sur using OpenCore 0.6.4 for over a year and want to upgrade to Monterey. I...
