Just to test the hardware part, I installed Windows 8. Using a DVI -> HDMI cable I managed to have sound through the GTX 770 DVI connection and HDMI on the monitor side. So from a hardware perspective, this setup works fine. Now I want to replicate this setting on the Mavericks side...

Hi Guys I've just built my first Hackintosh. It runs just fine but I have a problem with the audio. I used a 3.5mm audio output cable to connect it to my speaker but there is no sound. I cannot run with the HDMI because I'm using two monitors and I only have one HDMI output on my graphics card...
